Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa has announced cash reward of Rs. 2 crore for gold medalist Mariyappan Thangavelu. The 21 yr old athlete created history by finishing on top in the high jump T42 event. He is the first Indian to win high jump gold in Paralympics.
